All though he never growled a note in his life haha. Though the album perhaps sticks to its guns a bit too much for listeners craving innovation, Invictus The 11th Hour is still an expertly crafted release with some tremendous songwriting.

I also detect a little bit of a Psychotic Waltz influence in a few tracks particularly towards the end of "Reflections Remain" and "Twilight Hour"and that's almost never a bad comparison to draw when it's coming from me! First I should mention that I definitely love the gorgeous album artwork. All tracks are perfectly linked together, and the album has a uniform atmosphere, with a slight variation, but the overall sound is altogether impeccable. Besides the great guitars, intense keyboards and Rodgers ' outstanding vocals, the band used some beauteous female vocals and heavy choirs unvictus some tracks, as well as some enchanting orchestrations.

Finally, I think this album shall be really appreciated by Progressive Metal fans as well as those who are more into symphonic stuff. Top it all off with a powerful sound production and high-class musicianship, and it's hard not to be left amazed by what Tellus Requiem have conjured for their sophomore observation.
